Dr. Richards is a Professor for the Department of Pathology and Molecular Medicine. He has broad experience in gene regulation by cytokines in inflammation and the basic biology of stromal cells in chronic inflammatory diseases. Dr. Richards has been a Senior Research Scholar of the Arthritis Society (Canada), has held an Ontario Ministry of Health Career Scientist Award and an Arthritis Society Fellowship. He has also served for two terms as Associate Dean, Faculty of Health Sciences Graduate Studies Program.
