Academic Interests

Dr. Sebaldt’s interests include performing observational and interventional studies focused on appropriate drug prescribing in both primary care and specialist settings, and designing and implementing novel and scalable information technology-based solutions in support of improved clinical data capture from the point of routine clinical care, to promote the value and validity of large-scale prospective longitudinal clinical data collection programs for a variety of scientific purposes. The research team he leads at the CEM is the project and data management centre for observational and interventional studies in therapeutic areas including osteoporosis, hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, psychiatry, osteoarthritis, venous thromboembolism, gastroenterology, dermatology, rheumatoid arthritis, geriatric pharmacology and oncology.
