Academic Interests

Rob provides biostatistical assistance across the PATH Research Institute’s programs which include educational support, design and analysis of systematic reviews, conducting and analyzing clinical studies (field evaluations), economic evaluations and health technology assessments.  Rob holds a BA (Economics), BSc (Biochemistry), MA (Health Economics and Econometrics), an MBA (Finance and Operations), and a PhD (Biostatistics).  Previously, Rob was a sessional instructor in statistics at the Department of Economics, and a member of the Society of Management Accountants (CMA) of Canada.  Recent methodological issues explored include handling of missing data in meta-analysis, trials, and economic evaluations;  mixed and indirect treatment comparisons;  trial-based economic analysis;  and cost/burden of illness studies.
