CE&B’s faculty members have well established research programs spanning many health and social sciences disciplines. They attract intellectually animated graduate students and highly qualified research staff. Together, they nurture a collegial and collaborative atmosphere for learning and discovery.
CE&B delivers the Health Research Methodology Masters and Ph.D. Programs and is a partner in the Tri-Faculty Health Policy PhD and e-Health MSc Programs. CE&B hosts the Public Health and Preventive Medicine Residency Program and contributes core and elective courses to the Bachelor of Health Sciences (BHSc) program. The Ethics in Health Care initiative led by Dr. Lisa Schwartz, offers training in health-care ethics to medical professionals and health researchers. CLARITY, PATH and Professor Emeritus David Sackett of the Trout Research & Education Centre offer workshops to an international clientele every year.
