Education Programs

We are here to question, to learn, to discover and communicate.

CE&B’s faculty members have well established research programs spanning many health and social sciences disciplines. They attract intellectually animated graduate students and highly qualified research staff. Together, they nurture a collegial and collaborative atmosphere for learning and discovery.

CE&B delivers the Health Research Methodology Masters and Ph.D. Programs and is a partner in the Tri-Faculty Health Policy PhD and e-Health MSc Programs. The Department introduced a Master of Public Health Program in 2015 that meets the increasing demand for expertise in public-health policy and public-health research methodology locally and globally. CE&B hosts the Public Health and Preventive Medicine Residency Program and contributes core and elective courses to the Bachelor of Health Sciences (BHSc) program. The Humanitarian Health Ethics initiative, co-led by Dr. Lisa Schwartz, offers practical and
educational material for humanitarian healthcare workers, students, and scholars. The Department launched an online Graduate Diploma in Clinical Epidemiology (GDCE) in September, 2015 that expands its expertise to an international distance-education audience. CLARITY and PATH offer workshops to an international clientele every year.
